Subject: Hypocrite Paul Mango Panders to Abusers While Lying to Victims
Date: March 2, 2018

What Paul Mango says and what Paul Mango does are two very different things. And this has come into the especially harsh limelight this week as Mango has pandered to sexual abusers and harassers and the system that protects them while refusing to believe victims.

When asked if Representative Nick Miccarelli should resign after being accused of rape and abuse, Paul Mango refused to say he should step down.

This is part of a disturbing pattern.

When asked if Representative Pat Meehan, who used $40,000 in taxpayer dollars to settle a sexual harassment claim made by a former aide, should resign, Mango replied that he should not.

It’s bad enough that Paul Mango is refusing to call for Miccarelli and Meehan’s resignations. But what’s even more astonishing is that Paul Mango is actively campaigning on holding abusers accountable, when that is very clearly not his position.

Paul Mango has brazenly run a television ad claiming he has a “zero-tolerance” policy for sexual harassment and wrote an op-ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer where he claims, “Those who engage in sexual harassment should no longer occupy positions of leadership, regardless of their occupation.”

This type of hypocrisy has no place in our political system. As victims everywhere are finding their voice, Paul Mango is trying to tamp them down.

Paul Mango is a despicable liar and needs to be held accountable for shameful double dealing.
