MISSION STATEMENT
The Pennsylvania Democratic Party’s most important mission is to elect more Democrats to public office at the federal, state and local levels.
Under the leadership of Governor Edward G. Rendell and PA Democratic Party Chairman T.J. Rooney, Democrats have had a 73 percent victory rate since 2003 in statewide elections. Democrats hold the majority in the state House of Representatives with Congressional Democrats outnumbering Republican members as well. In addition, Democrats enjoy a voter registration edge over Republicans by more than 1.2 million voters.
Through the use of our comprehensive voter file, the cost savings of our bulk-rate permit and our ability to quickly communicate with voters throughout the state, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party provides a benefit to our Democratic candidates.
