With President Obama in Philadelphia today speaking about vital health care reform, Republican senate hopeful Pat Toomey insists on being an impediment to reforming our broken health care system.
After considering the recommendation of the 12th District convention, the Executive Board of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party has voted to nominate Mark Critz as the Democratic candidate for the 12th Congressional District special election. Mr. Critz won the nomination by reaching the 26 vote threshold according to the State Committee by-laws.
The vote taken today is a non binding recommendation. That said, the members of the Executive Committee will certainly take these results under consideration this Monday when they decide our nominee.
