Represents 10^th district in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. His is serving his 2nd term after defeating Don Sherwood in 2006.
When elected, he was the youngest Democrat in the house at 29 years old.
Was a professor in the Pennsylvania State University System (Scranton Campus) and served as a Senior Intelligence and Terrorism Advisor in the Pentagon.
Continues to serve in the Naval Reserves as a Commander.
