And recently his negative ads are saturating our airways...so don't even say he doesn't run a negative campaign. But the Obamanites will find a way to accept this as a way to respond to the ads of truth that Senator Clinton is running.

It's amusing how the racists among us research far and wide to try to find negatives about Obama himself and find little or nothing. So they try guilt by association. Any black man with his background (raised by white grandparents) would need to read widely among black authors in order to understand how he really fitted into this society. He would have to read the bitter and the moderate. That is how intelligent people inform themselves. Having read these people, listened to Rev. Wright, his grandparents, his professors, he found his own life view. Are some of you guys simply not intelligent enough to understand this, or are you simply so partisan you pretend not to.

This is a Leader to be proud of. Here is a highly qualified lawyer, an honor graduate of Harvard who elected to spend early years after graduation on the streets of Chicago helping displaced factory workers like many of you. Just think that 425,000 of us contributed $40 million dollars to his campaign last month. He is the only candidate who does not owe anything to the people who outsource your jobs and foreclose on your homes. Some experienced Senators have braved the wrath of the Clintons to tell you so.

Hillary on the other hand has a checkered past.
She started out as a Goldwater girl, a supporter of the most conservative man to run for president in living memory.
She served on the board of Walmart for six years during which time Walmart ruthlessly fought any attempt at unionization, paid low wages and provided no healthcare. Did this show the heartfelt solidarity with labor she now claims. She is still the favorite of the rich. Twenty wealthy rich donors recently ganged up on Nancy Pelosi on her behalf. What do do you think they expect in return. How can any right thinking union member vote for this darling of the out sourcers.
She served on the team that investigated President Nixon but her Supervisor refused to give her an "honorable discharge" when the project was finished. He says she lied, was unethical and unjust.
Recently she lied about her visit to Bosnia. I for one would not have employed any manager who told that kind of rediculous lie and would not even admit he lied. If she really believed her story when she told it, as she claimed, then she is a nut case.
It seems to me any reasonable person must see there is no comparison in personal qualities. That I think is the reason why your Senator who had planned to stay neutral felt compelled to take a stand.

Hillary Clinton Fired for Lies, Unethical Behavior

So says her boss on the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate hearings, Jerry Zeifman. I haven't had time to digest it all, but Ed Morrissey reports on a column by Dan Calabrese that is based on Zeifman's account, supported by his own contemporaneous notes:

When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.
Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

The allegations are explosive, and they come from the one person in the best position to know that they are true, Hillary's then-boss.

awwww now Senator Clinton is given credit for being First Lady...only when Pres Clinton is the topicof convesation. I see the Obamanites fall right in line with their master of empty speeches and displaced attention. An obscure court case threatens to bring Bill Clinton's presidential pardons controversy back into the public eye just as Hillary Clinton heats up her campaign for the White House.

Bill Clinton issued 140 presidential pardons in his final days in office, and drew howls of protest when it came to light that Hillary's two brothers had received money from several of the people pardoned.

Clinton pardoned Almon Glenn Braswell of his mail fraud and perjury convictions, and commuted the sentence of cocaine trafficker Carlos Vignali. Hillary's brother Hugh Rodham received nearly $400,000 for lobbying for the two men, although he later returned the money.

Hillary's other brother Tony Rodham received a $107,000 "loan" from Vonna Jo Gregory, owner of the carnival company United Shows International, and her husband Edgar, who were pardoned for a bank fraud conviction.

Edgar has since died, and the carnival company is bankrupt. Now the bankruptcy trustee has filed suit against Tony Rodham, seeking the return of the $107,000.

Before he received that money, Rodham had been paid $224,769 by the couple over 2 1/2 years to serve as a business consultant, the Boston Globe reports.

At issue is whether the $107,000 was part of his salary or, as the trustee maintains, a loan that with interest would now be $153,000.

U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Marian Harrison of Nashville has ordered Tony Rodham to respond by March 16 to the trustee's allegation.

When Rodham's involvement with the Gregorys became public in early 2001, Hillary said her brother "was not paid."

But the House Government Reform Committee report the following year called for a further review to determine whether Hillary "knew of the financial relationship between Tony Rodham and the Gregorys when Rodham was lobbying the President for pardons." The report said Clinton's "statement that Tony Rodham ‘was not paid' is not accurate."

The organization Judicial Watch said the bankruptcy court case should prompt the Justice Department to revisit the pardon, according to the Globe.

But a Justice Department official notified Judicial Watch that "it is likely that any new allegations would be outside of the 5-year statue of limitations period."

Nevertheless, Stephen Gillers, professor of legal ethics at New York University, told the Globe that the pardons controversy "is a legitimate campaign issue."

The controversy resurfaced last week after Hollywood mogul David Geffen criticized the Clintons over the pardon of fugitive financier Marc Rich, who was indicted on tax evasion, commodities fraud and other charges and fled to Switzerland. Rich's ex-wife Denise had been a major contributor to Democratic causes – including Hillary's Senate campaign.

As NewsMax reported last week, Geffen – who had been close to the Clintons, turned his back on them after the Rich pardon. He was angry that Clinton had rebuffed Geffen's request for a pardon for Leonard Peltier, an American Indian activist Geffen believes was falsely convicted of two 1975 murders.

It's not going to go so well for Hillary either:

The Hillary Clinton campaign pushed to reporters today stories about Barack Obama and his ties to former members of a radical domestic terrorist group -- but did not note that as president, Clinton's husband pardoned more than a dozen convicted violent radicals, including a member of the same group mentioned in the Obama stories.

"Wonder what the Republicans will do with this issue," mused Clinton spokesman Phil Singer in one e-mail to the media, containing a New York Sun article reporting a $200 contribution from William Ayers, a founding member of the 1970s group Weather Underground, to Obama in 2001.

In a separate e-mail, Singer forwarded an article from the Politico newspaper reporting on a 1995 event at a private home that brought Obama together with Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, another member of the radical group.

Unfortunately for Hillary, some of that "experience" on which she has run includes a big fat pardon to a Weather Underground bomber, Susan L. Rosenberg. Rosenberg got the pardon on the last-day flurry that also included a pardon for Marc Rich. It also recalls the fiasco of the FALN pardons, in which Hillary played a major blundering role. What a great way to get that story back in the headlines!

Still, John McCain hasn't issued pardons to domestic terrorists, and he hasn't met with them to get blessings for political campaigns, either. Singer is correct to wonder how Republicans use this information.
