I am a native of PA, now living in Maryland. I am writing about the comments of Gov. Rendell about Barack Obama and race. Yes, I read, he added as an afterthought, Hillary Clinton's gender would be a barrier too. These comments are subtle racism. In 1964, the Southerners added gender to the 1964 Civil Rights Act to try to defeat its passage. The comments of Gov. Rendell are eactly the same subtle racist tactic.
The party needs to condemn these types of attacks, no matter who says them, and it needs to do so today. We need to move forward and stop these kinds of actions
