I have to disagree with your comment.I'm an Independent who voted for Hillary in my state.In a general election I will vote for McCain if it's him against Obama.McCain is VERY popular among Independents and I could never vote for Obama.Also,you are forgetting those Reagan Democrats who really love Hillary and McCain,and don't count out angry feminists to do some cross-over voting.If Obama doesn't win I think you are right about African American voter's crossing over,but the other half of Obama's support(young people)will probably just not vote.If you are right in your comment then they will both lose to McCain probably.Sorry,two weeks ago when the Clinton's were talking about both on the ticket he should have jumped on board with that rhetoric.If they can't unite with each other,they probably have no chance of uniting the party,cross-over voting is going to go both ways in my opinion.
