In accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws, the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee has standing committees that help govern day to day business.
The Credentials Committee is responsible for oversight of credentialing process to ensure that members or their authorized proxies are properly credentialed at State Committee meetings. It tracks attendance to determine if a quorum is met, and gives the attendance and Credentials Committee report at the meeting.
RULES & ORDER OF BUSINESS COMMITTEE
The Rules & Order of Business Committee is responsible for enforcing the rules of operations at state committee meetings and resolving disputes over procedures at State Committee meetings.
VOTER OUTREACH & REGISTRATION COMMITTEE
The Voter Outreach and Registration Committee is responsible for assisting State Committee members with voter contact and message dissemination. Objective is to develop avenues to increase participation, visibility and media presence among constituency groups.
The Bylaws committee is responsible for reviewing bylaws and making recommendations for changes. It reviews amendments to the bylaws to make sure they are in accordance with the Democratic National Committee’s bylaws.
