With two state legislators at his side Friday, Pennsylvania State Education Association regional Vice President Jeff Ney said public schools are not being funded at adequate levels and that’s the wrong message to be sending.
Tom Corbett's education cuts have hurt students throughout Pennsylvania and this year's budget does not do enough to prioritize education. Instead of maintaining his
drastic cuts to higher education, Corbett should rebuild Pennsylvania's commitment to public education.
Governor Corbett recently criticized a third party's outside spending for declining to disclose their contributors. This is hypocrisy at its worse. Governor Corbett has accepted nearly $2 million in secret money over the years.
