Four Hours To Go

A lot of you are probably getting off work within the next hour and the one thing I always try to keep in mind from playing sports in my younger days is that until the final minute you have to play like you are 10 points down.

If you haven't voted, you have four hours to get to your poll. If you have already voted, call some of your friends and/or family and make sure they get out to vote as well.

Don't worry about what you are hearing as far as turnout or any exit polls that may be floating around. Remember in 2004 when the early exit poll reports made it sound as if John Kerry had it in the bag? And then remember how everyone was then left scratching their heads when President Bush won re-election? I won't get into the weeds with all the theories as to why those exit polls came out the way they did. I will save that for another post. The only other thing I will recommend is that we not take any chances.

So fight in these last four hours like we are 10 points down and do everything you can to make sure everyone gets to the polls.
