Harrisburg, PA - Senator Bob Casey took in over a million dollars for the fourth straight quarter, increasing his cash on hand to almost $4.4 million. Senator Casey raised $1.09 million this quarter, bringing his cash on hand to $4.347 million.

"Senator Casey's fundraising is an indication of the strong support he is receiving from throughout the Commonwealth," said Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Jim Burn. "With these fundraising numbers, Senator Casey is in the top tier of fundraising nationally. Senator Casey will have the resources to communicate his record of working to create jobs in Pennsylvania and grow our economy."

National media outlets have written that Senator Casey is well-positioned headed into 2012. According to Roll Call, Senator Casey "is favored to win re-election this year" while National Journal says "Casey's numbers look just fine, and barring a big-time candidate, he'll win another term."

Senator Casey is well ahead of his 2006 fundraising pace. Earlier this month, Senator Casey was unanimously endorsed by the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
