GOVERNOR TOM WOLF ENDORSES TWO DEMOCRATS FOR PA SUPERIOR COURT

HARRISBURG, PA — In the general election on Tuesday, November 5th, Pennsylvania voters will elect two judges to open seats on Pennsylvania’s Superior Court. Today, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party announced that Governor Tom Wolf is endorsing Democrats Amanda Green-Hawkins and Judge Dan McCaffery for those seats.

“Protecting the rights of workers, women, and our most vulnerable is crucial to building a commonwealth in which everyone can thrive, and we can’t do that without a court system that treats all people equally,” Governor Wolf said. “I support Judge McCaffery and Amanda Green-Hawkins because they’ve shown throughout their careers that they’ll extend dignity, fairness, and equal justice to every Pennsylvanian.”

Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chair Nancy Patton Mills added: “Governor Wolf was overwhelmingly re-elected last year because voters trust him to do what’s right by all people. His endorsement, coupled with the support of organized labor and grassroots groups, shows that Dan and Amanda are building a broad coalition of voters to flip the Superior Court this November!”
