Today, while the Senate is pushing through a vote on their disastrous health care plan, Scott Wagner and Paul Mango are continuing to hide from their support of this legislation that would be absolutely devastating to millions of Pennsylvanians.
“Throughout every step of the push to pass a disastrous health care bill, Scott Wagner and Paul Mango have hid from their support of this plan that would raise health care costs for millions of hardworking Pennsylvanians, charge an age tax on older Pennsylvanians, kick seniors out of their nursing homes, and strip access to care from women, people suffering from a substance use disorder, and those with pre-existing conditions,” said Beth Melena, communications director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “Governors will have to make serious decisions about health care options for the people they serve, and with the support of this devastating plan, Paul Mango and Scott Wagner have made it clear that they do not care about the health and wellbeing of Pennsylvanians, particularly seniors, women, and people pre-existing conditions like cancer, or those suffering from a substance use disorder amid an opioid and heroin public health crisis.”
