PA GOP Congressmen Perry, Joyce Vote Against Helping Central Pa Flood, Tornado Victims

Central Pennsylvanians have been devastated by flooding and tornadoes over the past year. But two of their Republican congressmen, Scott Perry and John Joyce, voted against a bill that would help their communities by funding federal disaster relief programs.

“This vote against disaster relief proves that Scott Perry and John Joyce are out of touch with the basic needs of the people of Central Pennsylvania,” said Brandon Cwalina, spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “This sort of partisan extremism hurts Pennsylvanians, and if Perry and Joyce can’t put their constituents before their party, they have no business being representatives.”
