PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Republican Brian Fitzpatrick announced that he will cower in fear with Trump’s partisan enablers in Washington and refuse to hold him accountable for bribery and abuse of power.
“Today Brian Fitzpatrick shattered his promise to be an independent voice for Bucks and Montgomery Counties,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Brendan Welch. “The facts are crystal clear: Trump abused his power, undermined our national security, violated our election laws and obstructed justice. The mental gymnastics that Fitzpatrick does to claim this is not impeachable conduct are beneath the dignity of his office and the people he represents. It’s a cynical ploy that he thinks will help his re-election prospects. The people of Bucks and Montgomery Counties will prove him wrong next November.”
