BUMBLING PA SENATE GOP LEADERS ADMIT THEIR FRAUDIT PUSH FOR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS IS “INTRUSIVE AND OVERREACHING” — BUT PUSH AHEAD ANYWAY

PENNSYLVANIA —  Jake Corman’s fraudit is a trainwreck and it’s only getting worse. Today, City & State Pennsylvania reported that PA Senate GOP Majority Leader Kim Ward can’t even pretend to justify the push for 9 million Pennsylvanians’ social security and driver’s license numbers. “I agree with the public that asking for a driver’s license and the last four digits of a social security number is intrusive and overreaching. However, these are not normal circumstances,” Ward said.

Meanwhile, as election security experts continue to sound a five-alarm fire about the extreme risk of identity theft this opens for 9 million Pennsylvania residents, Corman’s spokesman could only meekly claim to WHYY that the subpoenas are based on concerns they’ve heard “anecdotally.” He does not clarify where these “anecdotes” came from, likely because the claim of mass voter fraud is a complete and total lie.

“Make no mistake — this fraudit is a fishing expedition based on lies and conspiracy theories,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Brendan Welch. “At this point, Senate Republicans have no more credibility than the My Pillow guy. The madness has to stop or they will be held accountable — voters will not stand for this.”
