PENNSYLVANIA — Today, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party announced the election season’s hottest new reality show: “The Pennsylvania Apprentice,” set to premiere this fall. This highly anticipated show will feature Pennsylvania’s Republican candidates for Governor fighting it out in their never-ending battle to prove their loyalty to Donald Trump and become his true apprentice in the Commonwealth.
“Trump looms large in Pennsylvania’s GOP primaries” and more than a year before the 2022 midterm elections, a boardroom of Republican candidates has gathered to compete for Trump’s favor. From embracing his far-right, MAGA policies to calling for a sham “audit” in the Commonwealth, the contestants are already battling it out to become “The Pennsylvania Apprentice” — Lou Barletta is embracing Trumpian conspiracy theories and reminding voters that he was one of Trump’s first endorsers, Joe Gale says that he has “the same platform” as Trump, and Doug Mastriano claims Trump asked him to run!
Explosive drama will unfold across the Commonwealth throughout the Republican primary. Critics are already raving about this season’s spiciest new competition: Donald Trump calls it “the number one show on all of television.” Rudy Giuliani calls it “PA’s biggest real-time drama since Four Seasons Total Landscaping.”
“In his retirement, Donald Trump is looking for a new apprentice — and the full field of Republican candidates for governor is eager to prove their loyalty and show that they are the true heir to Trump’s MAGA legacy,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Brendan Welch. “From fundraising with Rudy Giuliani to peddling the Big Lie, there is nothing these candidates won’t do to earn Trump’s support. They know Trump is watching their every move, and over the next nine months, we will bring the drama and the intrigue of ‘The Pennsylvania Apprentice’ to audiences across the state.”
