Where does the rest of the field stand on the dangerous conspiracy that contributed to an insurrection on January 6th?
PENNSYLVANIA – This week it was announced that Kathy Barnette, GOP Senate candidate and professional conspiracy theorist, will be a featured speaker at the Patriots Arise Conference, an event hosted by QAnon podcasters Allen and Francine Fosdick.
Barnette’s full embrace of the conspiracy movement that helped inspire the insurrection on January 6th is irresponsible and dangerous. Pennsylvanians deserve to know where the rest of the GOP field stands.
Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson Jack Doyle issued the following statement:
“Kathy Barnette’s full embrace of dangerous conspiracy theorists needs to be called out. The entire GOP Senate field should make it clear where they stand on QAnon and denounce the amplification of dangerous conspiracy theories. If candidates like Mehmet Oz, David McCormick, Carla Sands and Jeff Bartos can’t stand up to conspiracy theorists who helped inspire the January 6th insurrection, they have no business representing Pennsylvanians.“
