PENNSYLVANIA — After remaining silent for days on the historic infrastructure package that will help Pennsylvania repair its roads and bridges, Lou Barletta is joining Trump in appealing to the far-right and vocally opposing the bill — and he’s boasting about it to his donors.
“Lou Barletta is trying to earn points with Trump and his MAGA base — fundraising off his opposition to the bipartisan infrastructure bill that will bring historic investments to communities across the Commonwealth — despite Pennsylvanians’ support for it,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson Marisa Nahem. “Pennsylvanians are applauding Democrats for passing the bill and delivering for the people, but Barletta is showing once again that he is out-of-touch with the needs of Pennsylvania.”
