PENNSYLVANIA – Today, Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto issued the following statement in response to the Trump Administration’s recently announced rollback of EPA guidelines:
“President Trump is gutting methane emissions regulations in the name of boosting an outdated industrial model. What Trump doesn’t understand — but Joe Biden does — is that this move will actually hold our economy back. We should instead be investing in 21st Century technologies and clean jobs, and building a new and sustainable industrial economy in Western Pennsylvania that will invest in our communities for generations.”
