Republican Katie Ford would put woman’s right to choose at risk in Pennsylvania
PENNSYLVANIA – Less than two weeks out from election day in HD-163’s special election, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Sharif Street has issued the following statement:
“The stakes in the race to represent the 163rd house district could not be higher. If Republican Katie Ford wins, she would hand MAGA republicans the majority in the state house, and be the deciding vote to outlaw abortion in Pennsylvania.
The voters of Delaware County can put a stop to this by electing Heather Boyd, a candidate who has always championed a woman’s right to choose, and who will stand up to the extremist Republicans in Harrisburg who threaten our freedoms.
The state house majority is once again on the line, and I know we are up to the task. Pennsylvania Democrats are committed to keeping abortion legal in the Commonwealth, and we look forward to a Heather Boyd victory on election day.“
