PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Dr. Rachel Levine was confirmed as Assistant Secretary for Health by a bipartisan Senate vote. She will be the highest-ranking openly transgender government official in the history of the United States. Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairwoman Nancy Patton Mills released the following statement:
