PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chair Nancy Patton Mills today issued a statement in response to First Lady Lady Melania Trump’s visit to Chester County alongside former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway:
“This may be the First Lady’s first campaign event in Pennsylvania, but just like the rest of the Trump family, she still won’t be able to provide answers for voters about why the Commonwealth’s unemployment rate has doubled since last year or why the administration announced this weekend they’ve stopped trying to combat a virus that’s killed 8,700 Pennsylvanians and counting. Instead of playing politics, the entire administration should address the worsening pandemic and find solutions for Pennsylvania families. We’re tired of Trump’s ineffective leadership — that’s why in just one week Pennsylvania will be going blue.”
