PA DEMS STATEMENT ON LAST NIGHT’S MASS MURDER OF ASIAN WOMEN IN ATLANTA

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairwoman Nancy Patton Mills and Vice Chair Sharif Street released the following statement:

“We stand strong with our AAPI community in Pennsylvania and across the country. Last night, Asian American women were targeted and killed, the latest incident in a disturbing rise in anti-Asian hate crimes over the last year. Let us be clear: racist behavior toward Asian Americans is unacceptable and we condemn it in the strongest possible terms. We must all commit to the hard and overdue work of confronting racism in all its forms. We stand with our AAPI community and commit to undoing the evils that led to this attack.”
