Today, in honor of National Voter Registration Day, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Executive Director Jason Henry issued the following statement:
“So much is at stake in the upcoming elections: democracy, women’s health care, and workers’ rights are under attack. We need strong and qualified judges to serve on our courts to protect the rights of Pennsylvanians. So as citizens across America celebrate National Voter Registration Day today, Pennsylvania Democrats are working nonstop to register voters today and every other day. We applaud the activists and organizers across the commonwealth who are joining our fight. We are facing a Republican Party here in Pennsylvania that wants to undermine our democracy and disenfranchise the voters trying to use their voices and their votes at the ballot box. When every eligible Pennsylvanian can make their voice heard and exercise their fundamental right, our commonwealth moves forward.”
