PENNSYLVANIA — Today, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party issued the following statement in response to U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson’s visit to Pennsylvania:
“President Trump and Secretary Carson are no friends to working and vulnerable Pennsylvanians. They have ruthlessly called for massive cuts to affordable housing programs, dismantled protections against housing discrimination, and failed to offer federal assistance to help address homelessness,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Andres Anzola. “Families in Pittsburgh are tired of the Trump administration’s broken promises — that’s why they’ll be voting Trump out of office in November.”
