PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairwoman Nancy Patton Mills released the following statement on the passing of AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.
“We are incredibly saddened to hear of Richard Trumka’s passing. Richard was a tireless advocate for American workers and a proud Pennsylvanian — who would never back down from a fight for the hardworking men and women of our communities. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and all of his colleagues and allies in the labor community as we all process this loss. Richard made our commonwealth and our country better and we all owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude.”
