PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chair Nancy Patton Mills released the following statement in response to reports that President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence plan to make visits to Erie and New Cumberland next week.
“The best way for President Trump and Vice President Pence to win over Pennsylvanians isn’t to barnstorm the state. It’s to get serious about coming up with a plan to end this historic recession, reverse their failed trade war, and stop fighting against the millions of Pennsylvanians who may lose their health care in the middle of a pandemic. It’s a long list, but after four years of ineffective leadership and broken promises, there’s a lot of ground to make up. Pennsylvanians deserve better, and in just a few weeks, they’ll be able to vote for just that.”
