PA DEMS STATEMENT ON TRUMP’S HALLOWEEN EVENTS IN PENNSYLVANIA

PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Andres Anzola released the following statement in response to reports that President Trump plans to host events in Berks, Bucks and Butler Counties on Saturday, October 31:

“This Saturday, families won’t be able to trick-or-treat like normal because after seven  months and 227,000 deaths, Trump still has yet to come up with a plan to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. And many of them won’t be able to afford costumes either, whether they’re one of the 500,000 Pennsylvanians still unemployed in Trump’s COVID economy, or one of countless more barely scraping by in their jobs because he won’t consider raising the minimum wage. All of which means that for Pennsylvania voters, the scariest thing on their streets this Halloween will be Donald Trump.”
