PENNSYLVANIA DEMOCRATIC PARTY ANNOUNCES EXPANDED COMMUNICATIONS TEAM

PHILADELPHIA — Today, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party announced they’ve expanded their communications team, bringing on Jack Doyle as Senior Communications Advisor and Rosie Lapowsky as Deputy Communications Director. Doyle will be focused on the 2022 U.S. Senate race, specifically holding the Republican Senate candidates accountable throughout what is shaping up to be a long and messy primary. Lapowsky will be driving the message of what Democrats are doing for the people of Pennsylvania.

“We are excited to announce the hires of Jack Doyle and Rosie Lapowsky as Senior Communications Advisor and Deputy Communications Director,” said Jason Henry, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “Pennsylvania will once again be crucial in the 2022 cycle, and we are committed to building the strongest possible team to ensure we keep delivering for Pennsylvania families. Jack and Rosie both have experience communicating to audiences across Pennsylvania and the expertise in messaging and political strategy that we need to continue winning up and down the ballot.”

Doyle comes to the PA Dems after serving as Communications Director and Senior Advisor for Sri Kulkarni’s campaign in TX-22. Prior to joining Sri’s race, Doyle was Pennsylvania Communications Director for Priorities USA’s Battleground State program.

“I am so excited and grateful to be working in Pennsylvania again,” said Doyle. “In just a few months, the Democratic majority in the Senate has delivered stimulus checks for families in need, increased vaccine distribution to protect us from COVID-19, and provided additional school funding so that our children can get back to school safely. In order to continue to build on the progress we are delivering to families both across the country and Pennsylvania, we need to protect that majority and I am thrilled to play a role in doing so.”

Lapowsky, a Scranton native, joins the PA Dems after serving as Eastern Pennsylvania Regional Press Secretary for the Biden campaign. Prior to joining the Biden campaign, Rosie served as the PA Deputy Communications Director for Mike Bloomberg 2020. Rosie began her career with Congressman Matt Carwright (PA-8).

“I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the PA Dems at such a pivotal time,” said Lapowsky. “Because of the success of the American Rescue Plan, Pennsylvanians are beginning to go back to work, small businesses are able to keep their doors open, and lives are beginning to return to normal.

Pennsylvanians know that our country is back on track thanks to President Biden and Democrats, and no thanks to a single Republican. I am excited to build on our success and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot.”
