PENNSYLVANIA WOMEN ARE TIRED OF TRUMP’S BROKEN PROMISES

Trump has repeatedly broken his word to Pennsylvanians on health care, equal pay, child care

The Trump campaign’s new “Women for Trump” bus tour is an attempt to reset his broken relationship with Pennsylvania women who have watched him go back on his word time and again. They’ve seen three and a half years of failed leadership, and it’s far too late to convince them he’ll spend the next four years keeping his promises.

Trump has used every tool in his arsenal to block and increase the cost of  women’s access to health care after claiming he cared about the issue.

PROMISE: “Women’s health issues to me are very important.” [Meet The Press, NBC, 8/16/15]

Trump has failed to protect women against discrimination at work and school, especially around equal pay.

PROMISE: “I’m Proud That I Provide Equal Play And Equal Pay For Equal Work. I Have To Do That.” [Trump Campaign Rally, Ambridge PA, 10/10/16]

Trump has failed to reduce the cost of childcare and made little progress on paid family leave.

PROMISE: “Childcare is such a big problem. We’re going to solve that problem. That means we need working mothers to be fairly compensated for their work and have access to affordable, quality childcare for their kids.” [Trump Remarks In Childcare Policy Speech, Aston PA, 9/13/16]

Trump’s tax giveaway made childcare even more expensive — even as he claimed his tax plan would do the opposite.

PROMISE: “We will let parents deduct childcare expenses from their taxes and create tax free childcare and elder care savings accounts with matching contributions for low-income families.” [Trump Campaign Rally, Valley Forge PA, 11/1/16]
