PENNSYLVANIA — This time last year David McCormick, fresh off his primary loss to Dr. Oz, filed suit in Pennsylvania courts in a last ditch effort to save his failed campaign. He even told Laura Ingraham “we’re gonna win this campaign.” The following week, he conceded.
McCormick’s primary loss came after he faced brutal attacks for his ties to China and Wall Street. Donald Trump even called him a “Wall Street Republican” and “the candidate of special interests.”
As McCormick weighs another Senate run, he’s facing the same vulnerabilities with Republican voters in Pennsylvania that caused him to fail last year.
