PENNSYLVANIA — With the Republican primary descending into chaos as the field of failed candidates is outraised by professional conspiracy theorist Kathy Barnette, Trump megadonor and former ambassador Carla Sands is attempting to use her personal wealth to buy the coveted Trump endorsement, donating thirty-five thousand dollars to Trump’s super PAC a week before her campaign kicked off.
Given the crowded and messy field of underwhelming candidates, Sands is clearly hoping that her personal wealth will allow her to buy this Senate nomination and financially dominate a field struggling to generate enthusiasm from voters and donors.
“Given the lack of quality candidates, it’s no surprise that this crowded primary is descending into chaos,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson Jack Doyle. “Much like the rest of the Republican Senate field, Carla Sands is focused on sucking up to Mar-a-Lago while Democrats are providing real solutions for Pennsylvanians.”
