PENNSYLVANIA — Donald Trump may be visiting Pennsylvania today, but some Pennsylvania Republicans don’t want anything to do with him. Donald Trump has spent years spouting hateful rhetoric and dangerous policies that will do serious harm to working families and put America’s security at risk. Ahead of Trump’s visit in Monessen, PA, Reps. Charlie Dent and Ryan Costello remain skeptical and critical of their party’s standard bearer, and former Governor Tom Ridge has condemned and rejected his candidacy.

WCHE: Congressman Costello to step down as delegate at Republican National Convention

Congressman Ryan Costello is set to step down as a delegate at this summer’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. It was first reported and now confirmed that Costello will step down and give his open delegate seat to Chairman of the Chester County Republican Committee Val DiGiorgio.

Politics PA: PA-15: Dent Plans on Skipping the Republican National Convention

Count Rep. Charlie Dent out. According to Karen Shuey of the Reading Eagle, Rep. Dent will not be attending the GOP Convention where Donald Trump is expected to be officially declared the Republican nominee for President. A spokesman for Dent said that he would only go to Cleveland if it were an open convention.
