The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is excited to facilitate the campaigns’ and voters’ selection of the Pennsylvania delegation to the Democratic National Committee’s 2024 Presidential convention, which will be held in Chicago from August 19-22, 2024. The Pennsylvania Democratic Party has adopted a delegate selection plan, including a section on affirmative action and outreach and inclusion, that will guide this process for would-be delegates and for campaigns. The plan appears below.
Pledge forms to be considered for an at-large delegate and alternate delegates and standing committee members must be submitted by May 9, 2024*. The deadline to apply to be a district delegate has passed.
(*If you already completed a pledge card previously or in the first round, that card remains on file and there is no need to complete another one.)
Statement of Candidacy and Pledge of Support
Anyone interested in becoming a delegate or member of a standing committee should, as an initial step, complete a Statement of Candidacy and Pledge of Support. These forms must contain an original signature and can be delivered to 2024delegates@padems.com or to the PA Dems offices at 510 N. Third Street in Harrisburg and 1421 W. Susquehanna Avenue in Philadelphia. Please look out for correspondence from the campaign of the candidate to whom you are pledged.
