2024 Convention

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is excited to move forward on our role in selection the
Pennsylvania delegation to the Democratic National Committee’s 2024 Presidential convention,
which will be held in Chicago from August 19-22, 2024.

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party has adopted a delegate selection plan, including a section on
affirmative action and outreach and inclusion, that will guide this process for would-be delegates and
for campaigns. The plan appears below, and will be finally updated after the date for the 2024
primary is set by the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the DNC awards bonus delegates, if any,
based on that date.

The PA Dems encourages all active Democrats to consider running for delegate and actively desire a
delegation that fairly represents all Pennsylvania Democrats. Please join us to learn about the process
to apply to be a candidate for delegate.

Statement of Candidacy and Pledge of Support

Anyone interested in becoming a candidate should, as an initial step, complete a Statement of
Candidacy and Pledge of Support. It is anticipated that the various Presidential campaigns will also
seek additional information from their candidates. Please look out for correspondence from the
campaign of the candidate to whom you are pledged.
